A Standard Edit consists of correcting a
manuscript's spelling,
grammar, and punctuation.
A Full Edit consists of a Standard Edit plus the added dimensions of
text enhancement suggestions, checking syntax, and plot/character
consistency review. (If you choose to have us review your manuscript prior
to editing, the plot/character consistency check will have already been
completed during that process.)
We edit using Track Changes, a Microsoft Word feature included in all MSWord
editions. We use this editing method to highlight the changes we
make to your writing.
Once we have released our edit for your review, you will want to examine
each edit we've made, and then choose Accept or Reject in the Track Changes options.
In addition, Track Changes offers space for editor comments that appear as
highlighted text in your manuscript. Accompanying all of our edits are detailed
instructions on how to access and use the Track Changes feature, and we're
also happy to walk you through the process via phone.
