Don’t pay us to praise your manuscript. Pay us to tell you the truth as we read it.

Our truth may include quite a bit of praise, but it is the praise from critics and readers that is our ultimate goal for your book.

We’re here to be honest with you about your craft, to let you know if you have plot inconsistencies or timeline errors or misspelled words or if you write sentences that just go on and on and on endlessly forever without commas, or if you have, too many, of them.

In that spirit, we offer manuscript review as a first step of our services. If we see technical errors during our review, we’ll give you examples. If we spot character or plot inconsistencies, you’ll hear about them. And if we think that your manuscript needs a rewrite before you engage our editing services, we’re going to tell you that as well.

For example, you might want to hire us as your editors but you tell us, “Ignore that spot on page 247 where I refer to the main character by the wrong name because no one will notice.”

Wrong. We noticed, and so will your readers.

Our method of manuscript review ensures that we’re all on the same page before you engage our editing services. To guarantee solid editor/author understanding, we include in our manuscript review package a 5-page complimentary sample edit using Track Changes, the industry standard. A unique editing tool included in all editions of Microsoft Word, Track Changes allows you to easily see where all edits have been made. As you review the changes made to your manuscript, you have the option to Accept or Reject each change.

A manuscript is seldom error-free, and our goal is for you to have a  bestseller. When you've gone as far as you can go in self-editing your work, let it first stop by us before you send an error-ridden manuscript to a publisher.
